EIGENLICHT
LIGHTER is an emotionally-responsive typographic system that translates your written words into living type. It is a poetic, digital space for journaling, healing, and emotional reflection, where glyphs and gaps become a mirror to your mood, and letters change in shape, tone, and rhythm as you write. Words carry emotion even when meaning collapses; type transforms itself into emotional residue.
We often struggle to name how we feel. Our thoughts come tangled, our language too limited. Eigenlicht as "the dark gray seen in perfect darkness as a result of signals from the optic nerves" invites you to explore your emotional undercurrents gently, non-verbally, visually. It uses AI not for surveillance or speed, but for sensitivity: sensing sentiment, subtlety, and silence. This project explores what happens when design prioritizes inner worlds over external outputs.
For designers, writers, and feelers. For those who don’t always have the words, but still want to be heard. You're allowed to relax without the expectation of someone reading between your lines. LIGHTER is an offering to anyone seeking emotional clarity, quiet interactivity, and beauty in language’s many moods. It’s a small act of resistance against rushed tech and a love letter to slowness.
